Chinese New Year celebration Part 2

I know it's a bit late to write about this since CNY is over but I have to tell you how we had some good Malaysian food at a friend's place in Queens.

TC made contact with me through my blog is late 2007. She and her husband are Malaysians living in New York with 3 beautiful daughters. They are here on expat status as her hubby work for a large multinational company.

I wished we had known each other earlier because before I moved to the suburb, we lived just one subway stop away from each other! But better late than never right....

Anyway, she invited us over for CNY lunch on the 6th day of CNY. TC is a good cook, she prepared curry chicken, bak kut teh, claypot chicken rice and steam chinese vegetable. Of course, I forgot to take pictures of the food la....too busy eating the yummy spread.

Olivia had fun playing with the girls. Hubby's tummy and my tummy are content with the delicious food. Thank you so much, TC.

I hope to host TC and her family in the new future. TC, plan on coming out here before you aunt goes home, yeah....

Once again, the power of blogging.....

Always a great think when we get to know a new person who in the end becomes one of our dearest friends.
