I woke up Friday morning to snow falling steadily and our neighborhood blanketed in white fluffy stuff. This winter has been pretty unusual because it's the end of February and this is our first major storm.
I still have to go to work so I quickly got ready to send Olivia to daycare but not before she has a taste of the snow.
On the way to work, my co-worker called to say that the office is closing, so I turned around to go back home. Yipee....a FREE day off.
When I got home, which is around 9.30am, the snow is already at least 6 inches deep. Looks like somebody has to shovel. Guess who?

Hey...since I am working with the UN, many of my colleagues also told me they were affected....and guess what, considering they couldn't get to work on Firday, the work pilled up and I had to deal with them on Monday !
sigh....the effects of a global world. The weather in US also affects me in HOT, SUNNY Msia!
