When I was pregnant with Olivia, we bought this bathtub for her, thinking that it should last her through her toddler years.
After she was born, we realized that the tub was too big to fit the sink. For those of you with babies, I’m sure you know it’s easier to bathe a tiny infant in the sink. So, when hubby went to the baby store, he made an impulse purchase of this tub.
I’m glad he did because this one is smaller and fit in the sink. It’s also convertible to a toddler tub by attaching an arm to our adult bathtub.
Olivia grew and grew and it’s time to convert the tub. Lo and behold, it would not work on our tub as we have sliding glass door and the metal railing is preventing the arm to attach properly. So, we went back to using the first tub.
Now, this tub seems too small for her again and the adult tub is too big. She needs a transition tub. So, I was browsing online and wonder if I should get this one?

Hooi Imm,
If Olivia can sit up by herself, you can just use a bucket, let her sit in the bathtub on the non-skid mat beside the bucket, just 'ceduk' water from the bucket and give her a sort of chinese-style bath. I never used baby bath tub except for the first few weeks. But again, it's individual preferences. I find it easy using a bucket and ceduk.
If she's still unable to sit by herself, you may want to find something like a chair with suction cup on the bottom to secure the chair on the big bathtub - sold in babies store - try Burlington Coat Factory or Babies R Us.
Cat, Olivia can sit up by herself. I will have to get a non-skid mat.
Aiyah, no need for baby tub lah! Heheh, I used a basin! Large round basin I found at a chinese store here. I put it on the floor of the shower stall and I squat next to the basin and showered Duncan in it, because we had installed a shower that can be taken off .. err, what is that kind of shower head called??
Now we are trying to get rid of the crib/toddler bed ..
